You need the following ingredients for this Fruit Punch Recipe:

  • 1 lemon
  • 1 bottle of red wine
  • 1 bottle of white wine
  • cinnamon
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 sugarloaf or 250 g cube sugar
  • 400 ml of rum
  • 1 old pot
  • 1 metal scoop
  • 1 Feuerzange (a sheet of metal approx 35 cm long with a number of small holes along its length)

Put the cinnamon and the cloves into a tea bag. Wash the lemon and chopp the lemon into slices. Put the tea bag, the lemon, the red wine and the white wine into the old pot. Heat the old pot until it starts steaming. Place the Feuerzange over the pot and the sugar on the Feuerzange. Soak the sugar with some rum. Put some rum into the scoop and ignite it. Now ignite the sugar. The sugar should burn and drip into the old pot. Continue to pour rum onto the sugar until it is fully molten. Remove the Feuerzange and serve the Feuerzangenbowle in mugs.
Caution!
The flames can reach a hight of 1/2 m!
